Hot Stone Massage Therapy Training - Lomi Lomi Pöhaku Lomi Pöhaku is based on Polynesian-Hawaiian tradition in which smooth warmed basalt stones (pöhaku) are used to massage the body (lomi means massage in Hawaiian) in long flowing strokes to relax and unwind muscle tension and stress from the body. Hawaiians have used stones in their massage and prior to massage for thousands of years.
